Henry's Favorite Photo: He's won the Nobel Prize and been a puppet master in the halls of power but today former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger was preoccupied with something a bit more basic.

I sat across the aisle from Hank on the US Airways Shuttle flight from DC to NYC and could tell the minute I saw him that something was on his mind. He asked his aide-de-camp to fetch him the New York Post and began rifling through the tabloid until he got to page 27.

When he reached the appointed page he locked on to a large photo and started to work his diplomatic magic.

"It shows how well he's healing," Kissinger said to his companion. "I hope she doesn't read the caption."

The she in question most probably was his wife Nancy who I'm guessing was the voice at the other end of the cell phone Dr. Kissinger used to place a call just before we took off.

I only caught snipets of the conversation like: "With who are you on the phone?" and "You're eating? What are you eating?"

But this request I heard as clear as day.

"Can you call the Post and see if they can send us the picture of me in there with the dog?" asked Hank. "Can you tell them that my dog is offended. Her name is Abigal" not Amelia as the caption indicates.

It wasn't until I got to the terminal at LaGuardia and grabbed a copy of the Post that I realized Mr. Kissinger's dog was not the only one who should be offended.

Photo Description "That schlubby dog-lover going on a stroll yesterday in United Nations Park turns out to be the usually sharp-dressed Henry Kissinger."
